Japanese Inlaid Wooden Box with Orchid Motif

Rectangular lidded box in honey-toned wood with bold grain, the lid inlaid with an orchid plant in dark wood and two blossoms in mother-of-pearl. A companion piece in the same craft style as the berry-branch box from this batch; likely from the same Showa-era Japanese wood-craft souvenir line.
